 Ptakha

Or short A

Ptakha adds a short sound of "A" to the letter it belongs to and forms a sylable with the consonant. after it.

Ptakha consists of two dots one on top, the other below the letter to add the sound of short 'A' after it. as in English letters 'can--dy' or 'ban-ker'.

zar-da Var-da        Ag-la    Kal-ba

Ptakha can be easily recognized by the fact that the letter after it does not have a Zowei or accent therefore it needs to be pronounced together after the short A

Note the break down of the wrods during the pronounciation

zar-da     Dar-ta    Ag-la      Kal-ba
