The Christian communities in Iraq are facing an escalation in
violence that is realised daily in kidnap, rape and murder.It is
estimated that approximately 40% of refugeesin Syria and Jordan
are from the Iraqi Christian communities. There are real fears that
these ancient communities are being targeted and will be extinguished.
