Deviousness of the Kurdish officials

On Wednesday December 13th in the morning a kurdish official by the name of Qubad Talabani was being interviewed on the Cspan. Someone called the program and said "we hear that Kurds are persecuting the Christians", Qubad who is probably related to the Talabani, the Kurdish president of Iraq," replied; "These Christians are Kurds, We have lived in peace with them for thousands of Years, there is no reason for us to do them any harm." It is obvious that Kurds are following an ethnic cleansing against the Assyrians by denying their existence and portraying them as Kurdish Christians. This is not the first time they have done this. On one hand Kurds are confiscating Assyrian villages to populate them by Kurds coming from all over the world at the same time they are trying to portray the Assyrians as 'Christian Kurds' to confuse others about their identity.

During the last few years some Kurds have been converted to Christianity by the American evangelists. They are being used by the Kurdish officials as an excuse to claim that all Christians in Iraq are Kurds which is a lie. Kurds have been historically the worst persecutors of the Assyrians and the Armenians because of their Christianity. For example during world War One dozens of Kurdish tribes helped Turkey in massacring two third of the Assyrian population. In the last few decades they have however changed their tactics to dispossess the Assyrians off their identity and land through force, intimidation and other macheavellian trickery, instead of naked violence, so that they will not antagonize the western nations who have hlep them to dominate and rule the northern Iraq. webmaster

Kurds trespass on Assyrian lands

Fishkhabour and Derabon are two Assyrian villages attached to the Zakho district whereby the majority of lands belong to the indigenous Assyrian population. Tens of Kurdish families belonging to the Mirani tribe have illegally appropriated lands belonging to the Assyrians in that area, there are also two hundred Yizidi families illegally living in the village of Derabon
Complaints were presented to the government in charge which was supposed to deal with but the latter didn’t take any action to put an end to these violations. Several inhabitants of the area mentioned that their many complaints went on deaf ears, while there are other violations regarding the villages of Qarola, Bidar and others in the Sindi area. In addition to all this, it has been noted that the funds which are allocated to the building of homes in the region are wasted due to administrative corruption resulting in the building of houses which don’t satisfy the legal specifications

Also many houses were built without fences using cheap building materials causing the walls to crack and water to seep through while there’s a dawdling in providing essential services such as water and sewage systems
