Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki Supports Assyrian Province!

In an unprecedented 40 minute private videotaped conversation
accompanied by his personal staff, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki extolled the Assyrian People to `come home` to Iraq on Tuesday, April 10.
Following in the footstepa of all previous Prime Ministers who have
saide the same thing, he took it one step further.
`I am biased towards the Assyrians` he said. `They are the most loyal,
honest and nationalist Iraqis. Further, they are our indigenous peoples
and we love them.`
`We want them to come back. I will do all I can to help them come back,
resettle, travel - whatever they need. At the same time if they prefer
to have a Province and region of their own I support this fully.`
The Prime Minister strongly encouraged the `indigenous people` to `come
home` and promised the full force of the Iraqi Government not only to
help resettle, but to fully and completely support an Assyrian Province.
