Christians killed in Mosul are in the areas where security forces and terrorists coordinate their tactics

Jan. 18, 2010

MOSUL – ankawa.com According to the information reaching the "ankawa.com" the criminal, campaign against the Christians in the city continues, mostly takes place in the areas supposedly protected by the security forces. The information suggests that some elements of the security forces are involved in crimes against the Christians. The heinous crime that took place yesterday in a street sub-district in Mosul, and claimed the life of the Christian citizen Saad Yusuf Suleiman, occurred in the vicinity of the security forces. According to eyewitnesses, the killer fired several shots into the air, after he executed his crime, and walked without being stopped by security forces, who did not even rushed to the scene of the crime. According to these witnesses, the victim Yusuf Saad shouted moments before he was shot by the killer. The murder took place yesterday when the victim was exercising his usual daily selling vegetables in the "Basta" modest area of a cultural group. On the other hand, "ankawa.com" learned from sources in Mosul, that the Medico-Legal report on the crime on Monday, confirms that before the killing a finger of the victim was cut off .by the killer. But the sources did not provide more details about the circumstances surrounding his death. It is worth mentioning that the terrorist forces behind these crimes, have changed their criminal tactics in murdering and driving out the Christians out of the city. During the last few years, they carried out major operations, such as bombing of several churches at one time, or kill the priests, but these days they kill people individually, and quietly, but steadily, without causing a major uproar, which leads to a minor reaction to the crime, whether by the Iraqi government, or even by our people. According to sources in the city, there is a state of terror and fear among the Christians in the city, similar to and perhaps greater than when a large Christian population was driven out of Mosul in October 2008.. Here is a list of Christian properties that were bombed and the murder of Christians in Mosul during the month of December and halfway in January.
